I am 33 years old with long dark brown/auburn hair. I really want to put a large, chunky purple streak in my hair, but I also want to be able to style it in such a way that it can still look office professional.

Any tips?

Hah, this is what I question myself with every single day. Here is what I’ve come up with– put the chunk underneath the top layer of hair so that its only really seen when the hair is flowing… or if you’ve styled your hair to show it. If that doesn’t make sense, send me an email and I can explain better.

I recently put a very bright red section underneath the top layer of my blonde hair, just to be a bit daring. While it wasn’t well received in my office because it was relatively bold, it isn’t something that can be deemed as "inappropriate" unless I had put huge chunks of pink on the top of my hair.

Its time to change up the do a little.

Simple and easy — go to Google Images and search "emo hair" or "scene hair". You will get a huge assortment of different pictures to choose from – these pictures also link to sites that may have MORE pictures to choose from

you know like mohawks, spikey hair, all the kind of hair that are like rock type cool . My style is ok and all but I want a new one. If you could show pictures that be great ,and how to make it or instructions. Details would be nice. Anything with long hair is ok.

I’m thinking of dying my hair dark brown underneith and light blond on top, and maybe getting some big swooping bands, but I can’t find any pictures to look at anywhere! I see girls on TV or out in the world passing by with these cool styles, but I really need to see some pictures before I make a decision. Any suggestions?

I’m going back to school in a few days with a new look. How can I get my meduim length black hair to look more punk without cutting it? Like Hairstyles? Been doing the straight thing for a while now and it’s old… Thanks

okay i dont know what kind of punk your going for but, if you know the like bump its style, try mocking it by teasing your a hair a bit- dont go for it though if it ends up looking like a birds nest, or you can go to a drug store or w/e & get a thin gel && use it on your tips of your hair to look like you have the edgy look
