I have short afroish hair (about chin length). I am not going to straighten it because I am trying to grow it. I need a nice hairstyle for my kind of hair.

take 2 clips part one side and pull it back and clip it to your head and do the same with the other side and thenwet your hair and put conditioner in it and take some out with a towel and let air dry

My mom has dark red/brown/blackish hair and its curly/wavy and has good body but she wants to cut it short (length anywhere from top of ear to bottom of ear) but needs a hairstyle that she wouldn’t have to straighten everyday. her face is i guess oval, any suggestions? and attach pictures please.

from experience cutting wavy hair short can make it curly, so look at clasic hollywood for answers for this one, a bob is a good solution. if she has a regular hair dresser then she’s good to go, make sure she doesnt have it cut as short as she thinks she needs it when it’s wet, wavy hair reacts differently when cut too short, give three inches beyond the ideal lenght and when its dried she’ll be able to have the length she wants with out as many fly aways.

I have thick naturally curly hair that barely touches my shoulders. I was wondering if anyone knows of any hairstyles that aren’t ponytails. And if so how to do it. Thanks!

put some styling product in your hair like mouse! and just let the curls be pretty.you could scrunch your hair some while it is still wet and then run your fingers through it to loosen it up.when your hair dries put in a cute accessorie, such as a headband or flower clip. (: havefun with your hair!

I have short (chin length) hair which is EXTREMELY curly. This is impossible when coming up with a prom ‘do. I have a hair appointment, but need some idea of what I want. I have no ideas & google searches have failed me. Any ideas would be appreciated, pictures will earn bonus points.

Okay well for starters, since you have short hair which is extremely curly, and i know you want yo look your best for the Prom , you should get your hair straightened and color. But when you straighten your hair make sure its like wavy like this :

Ask your stylist for Short layers and longer side-bangs.
If your hair is thick then you’ll have to ask your stylist to thin your bangs with thinning shears.
For Emo/Scene hairstyles you’ll need to get a flat iron to straighten your hair ( but don’t forget to

i need hairstlyes for school, my hair is kind of puffy and its up to my shoulders and curly. i hate it! my mom says its not good to straighten it everyday so i need help with hairstlyes for it – maybe step by step/pics…stuff like that (btw i dont usually like to wear it in a pony tail)
