I’ve been trying so hard to discover a good hairdo for my dark brown hair that is about past my chest. The weddings in October and on a beach, my only issue is my face isn’t really complimented by updo hairstyles but i feel like an updo is the best way to go for a beach wedding. Suggestions of hairstyles that look good on everyone and are appropriate for the occasion?

I am getting married in June 2012 and i am looking for a hairstyle that would go perfectly with a birdcage veil… im open to anything im still young but i like the idea of vintage looking hairstyles. i am also looking for colour ideas, I have dark hair atm

you don’t want to take away from the veil so maybe something elegant and simple.
short hair works best with birdcage veils so if you have a bob that’s great or you can have a bun.
curls make the veil look much nicer and elegant it also adds class and a vintage look
or if you have longer hair, curl it and pin it to the side similar to a side pony.

Do something really simple. Brighten your face with a vibrant silk flower clip. Clip to one side of your hair and pin it just along your ear. Then, just wear the rest of your hair any way YOU like. Whether it be wavy or curly or straight. Personally, I think it would look good with beachy-scrunched, or wavy! Oh, and you can find some at Target or Clair’s or something.
