We wanted to show you how to do a French Fishtail Braid, as it is one of the most requested videos we have been asked for. We apologize as fishtail braiding takes a long time to do. We used larger strands that we normally would in order to show you how it is done, without taking 10+ minutes.
This is a gorgeous hairstyle and is perfect for girls of all ages. You can braid it as tight or loose as you want {right now loose is what is popular}, and fishtail braids can be incorporated in various hairstyle combos. We will show some more of these in the future. Enjoy!

Here is another very beautiful style for our Waterfall Braid series! This one involves using two waterfall braids tied back into a ponytail.
I actually had her hair in soft braids the day before, which left a subtle curl throughout the hair, adding volume and style to the hairdo.
If you do not know how to Waterfall Braid, please see the tutorial below…
I think you will admit that this hairstyle turned out super cute, and will likely be one of our more popular styles! This would be perfect for Flower Girls, weddings, communions, etc. Stay tuned for more Waterfall Braid ideas!

Hey youtube!! I recently went to a black tie event (pics at the end) and I wanted to do something different to my natural hair. I wanted to curl my hair with flexi rods, even though I had never done it before. Generally I only do styles that I have done before when I have somewhere special to go, but this time I REALLY wanted curls!
I haven’t curled or straightened my hair since I’ve been natural, so I was excited. It didn’t turn out at all how I expected and I had a few mishaps! But at the end of the day it worked out! Hope you like the video! -

Step 1: Materials
To add some flowers to your short hairstyle, you’ll need:
* A comb
* Bobby pins
* Hair spray
* Real or fake flowers
Step 2: Style Hair
You can use flowers to complement a variety of hairstyles. Start off by styling your hair with a
French braid, curly, messy or any style to your preference.
One option when styling the hair is to hang the bangs or fringe across the forehead at an angle.
Step 3: Determine Flower Location
Now that your hair is styled, you can evaluate the best place for the flowers.
If you have bangs or fringe angled across the face, it’s a good idea to place the flowers on the opposite side. This will balance out the shapes and also draw attention to the face.
Step 4: Attach Flowers
Use a comb to brush out the section of hair where you’re going to place the flowers.
Depending on the kind of flowers you’re using, you can place them in a cluster or as a single flower. You can use several small flowers in a cluster just above the ear, or use a larger flower lower on the head.
To attach a flower, open a bobby pin and put it through the stem. Then nestle the pin into the hair and push it down to hold the flower in place. Continue as necessary with each flower.
Once you’ve attached all the flowers, spray over the cluster area with the hair spray to hold it all in place.
