After watching the top 5 elimination on X Factor last week, I was inspired to recreate this hairstyle that Nicole Scherzinger sported on the show. Honestly, I was shocked at the results because I really thought Rachel was going to win. I think Nicole thought that too.. oh snap! This is a beautiful updo hairstyle that was a suggestion from a fan, Cristina, and we liked it so much that we decided to film our own version and add in an extra third twist.

This is different from our Rossette Buns video, which uses bantu knots. These Spiral Twists are flat against the head, and are gorgeous! We did French twistbacks from the front into the ponytail just to add a bit more flair, but you don’t have to. What is nice about these buns is that they can be used in any number of combinations.

This is a perfect hairstyle for girls and women of all ages, and can be used as a Prom or Homecoming updo, holiday hairstyle, or any other fun occasions. Enjoy!

We wanted to show you how to do a French Fishtail Braid, as it is one of the most requested videos we have been asked for. We apologize as fishtail braiding takes a long time to do. We used larger strands that we normally would in order to show you how it is done, without taking 10+ minutes.

We decided to show you how to do a quick and easy updo that looks very classy, and is perfect for Prom, Homecoming, communions, weddings, etc.

Here is another very beautiful style for our Waterfall Braid series! This one involves using two waterfall braids tied back into a ponytail.

I actually had her hair in soft braids the day before, which left a subtle curl throughout the hair, adding volume and style to the hairdo.
